Second Thrifty Book Haul

So, for the record, I’m currently reading Micheal Crichton’s Congo.  I’m actually enjoying it.  So I thought of the other Crichton books I passed up on my last trip to the thrift store and I thought I’d go back to find them.

This is what I brought back:

The Salmon of Doubt by Douglas Adams
The Murder of Roger Ackroyd
by Agatha Christie
Prey by Micheal Crichton
Rising Sun by Micheal Crichton
Sphere by Micheal Crichton
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding
The Wives of Henry VIII by Antonia Fraser
The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison
The Bachman Books by Stephen King
For Better, For Worse, Forever
by Lurlene McDaniel
Pandora by Anne Rice
If You Really Loved Me by Ann Rule
The Bonesetter’s Daughter by Amy Tan

I’m super pleased with the Stephen King one.  In a major way, because I’ve been looking for this book for forever.  I can’t buy a copy of it new, and used ones are all more money than I want to spend because you can’t get it new.  But there it was, sitting on a shelf marked 3/$1.  I couldn’t freaking believe it.  The original Bachman books in one of the old copies like my mom has!  I can’t find it in print like that anymore because King won’t let them keep publishing “The Rage” which is my absolute favorite King story!  Gah!  *faints.*
